Highgatehill Murugan Temple Annual Mahotsava Festival - 2026

The Highgatehill Murugan Temple (managed by the Brittania Hindu (Shiva) Temple Trust) is currently celebrating its Annual Mahotsava Festival - 2026. This major 15-day religious festival commenced on Monday 1st June 2026 with a flag hoisting ceremony and concludes with a flag lowering ceremony on Monday 15th June 2026. The festival is followed immediately by the Thirukalyana Festival and Vairavar Madai rituals. Devotees attending are expected to strictly adhere to Saiva principles and temple rules throughout the festival season.
