Kadaram Kondan Rajendra Cholan" Therukoothu (traditional Tamil street-theatre)

What it is:

A training workshop — hands-on, in-person coaching directly from experienced Therukoothu artists.
An opportunity to participate — those who train will get the chance to act in a grand "Rajendra Cholan" Therukoothu performance on stage at the end of the workshop.
The production recreates the heroic history of Rajendra Chola — the emperor who conquered Kadaram (Kedah) — through this traditional folk-theatre art form, described as a major effort to revive the art of the soil.
